The snapshot option is disabled in version 9.2 of AMCap. The trial version allows you to take snapshots, but they will have an advertisement across them. To remove the advertisement, you installed version 9.2, but unfortunately, the snapshot option is disabled in that version.
No matter where I download this link, I can't control any of the camera settings like focus and zoom. And that is the only reason I bought this camera in the first place

It is possible that the camera control options are greyed out due to a compatibility issue with AMCap software. You may need to try a different software or update the current one to see if it resolves the issue. You can also check for any driver updates for your camera.
Yes, AMCap will work on Windows 10 as long as the device you're using is connected and installed properly on your Windows 10 operating system.
Afterwards, access the following website and download the software to your PC. When installing, makes sure to use Run as Administrator. This will give enough permissions for the software to install properly.

I'm trying to run Amcap on a Windows 8.1 Asus A100t Transformer book. When I start capturing, I get "Parameter errors" and sometimes a Blue Screen with parameter exceptions not handed on PAC7302.

You encounter a blue screen error because of the capture driver. It's either not supported, not compatible or bugged. The first thing to try is to re-install the application/driver and watch the behavior. If you encounter the same message, then I recommend you avoid using it on the device because you could create hardware faults which will have an important meaning in time.
Error 1450 typically means that there is insufficient system resources available to perform the requested operation. This can occur when there is not enough memory or disk space available.

The camera resolution of AMCAP camera software depends on the camera being used.
